In this group, we will read The Unfolding Now by AH Almass, and explore the practice of presence from the perspective of parenting. We will not focus on parenting philosophies or how to better ourselves as parents. Rather, we will focus on the importance of our own inner journey and the challenges of attending to that while parenting. In addition to meditation and other practices central to the Diamond Approach, we will have a “life practice” period where we will share a meal together and bring our practice into our family life.

Location: A family residence in Temescal, Oakland
Timing:
3:15-3:30 Arrival
3:30-5:30 Group meeting (concurrent kids program at our house or nearby park)
5:30-? Optional picnic/potluck dinner in the backyard with the children.
Cost: $200 for the series, including the children’s program
The group will consist of 8-10 parents.
Pre-mobile babies are welcome to remain with their parents throughout.
