Welcome to the Diamond Approach’s Asia practice region. In this section, you’ll find information about groups meeting and other events taking place in Asia.
Over the last thirty years, communities of Diamond Approach students and teachers have developed throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. And there has been growing interest in the teaching in other parts of the world, especially in Asia. Home to more than half of the world’s population, Asia spans many countries, cultures, and languages.
As a response to this interest in the teaching, we launched the first Diamond Approach group in Asia in June 2018. Students from ten countries gathered to learn the wisdom of this teaching. We will be meeting annually in an 8-day, residential retreat in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Combining traditional and online formats, the teaching in Asia provides opportunities to explore the Diamond Approach via an ongoing retreat group, online presentations, small inquiry groups led by a teacher, and one-on-one inquiry sessions with a teacher.
