Welcome to the Diamond Approach’s Europe/UK/Scandinavia practice region.
Since the first European retreat group started in 1990, a lot has changed and our community has grown substantially. There are about 1300 students meeting in 20 ongoing groups in northern and southern Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, and Sweden. Students come from many other European countries as well, and from as far afield as Israel, Turkey, Kuwait, Russia, Belarus, India, and Malaysia.
The ongoing groups have different formats; some groups meet twice a year for a week and other groups meet more frequently over long weekends. While many of the groups are taught in English, there are several taught in German.
Besides these ongoing groups, of which some are still open to new members, many other activities are being offered to give everyone interested a real flavor of the work and experience of the methods and practices of our path. These include inquiry groups, book groups in local languages, open introductory weekends, and one-time events.
The Diamond Approach is not only taught in groups. Many students meet individually with one of the approximately 40 Diamond Approach teachers in Europe for spiritual insight sessions in support of their personal process.
