I attended a seminar with Hameed at Esalen in 1986. I was very touched when Hameed worked with the participants and they had deep and cathartic experiences that led to a profound relaxation. It seemed that he did very little to bring this catharsis and transformation about. He asked a a few questions or suggested certain body movements and much understanding and unfoldment resulted. I did not understand the effect of presence at that time. I became very interested in this kind of work and discovering presence. This was the beginning of my journey with the DA and it has been ongoing for 30 years.
