Ben has been a student of the Diamond Approach since 1999, and a teacher since 2016. He has a background as a public school teacher in Santa Cruz, California.
One of the most important principals that I’ve learned to appreciate and trust in this path is that no matter what our experience is, if we actually make contact with the Truth of our experience in a felt way, and explore it through inquiry, Being will reveal itself.
At the age of 29, while teaching English in Indonesia, I had a near death experience that was a portal to a deeper spiritual opening. This experience facilitated my desire to find a spiritual path that would support this opening. Within 6 months I had discovered the Diamond Approach through a friend in Santa Cruz, California. As I explored my personal experience with my private teacher, and learned the methodology of inquiry, I began to connect with True Nature in a way that began, (and continues) to transform my life.
