In my late 20’s I turned towards exploring consciousness through meditation including 5 years as a zen monk. It was a profound experience and I was also curious about the impact of my psychological conditioning as even though I was feeling the benefit of sustained practice, parts of me were not integrated. I found myself turning towards my historical structuring initially through Gestalt and then there were a number of friends who were also deeply steeped in Buddhist practice and were receiving great benefit from the Diamond Approach. I joined a Big Group and found the Diamond Approach teachings nourished both on the integration of my history and structuring, and the expansion of the spiritual understanding and awakening.
At its core the Diamond Approach encourages us to be more and more present with what is happening in our experience. It offers a comprehensive map of the human condition including spiritual freedom, and yet the practice is very simple, which is to land into the immediacy of what is here.
