I grew up in Trondheim, Norway, a medium-size coastal town. We lived close to the natural world, picking berries and mushrooms, hiking and fishing in the summer under a midnight sun. In the winter, my souls’ draw was a good book or knitting in front of a warm fire, finding ways to enjoy the depth of silence that the long, dark days and nights offered. Growing up with extreme dark and light had a deep impact. It made me wonder what is real and true, what is God, and what is this feeling of sacredness that happens when it is dark?
I took my first leap toward freedom when I left Norway at age 19, and I have been traveling in the outer and inner world ever since, exploring the mystery of truly being a human on a journey towards liberation. I started dancing at age 5, and this passion later brought me to Africa, London and New York to learn and perform. Still one of my big loves, dance now finds expression in my spiritual practice, where embodiment is core for me.
I spent many years exploring deep inner work, and it has become an integral part of my life. Living fully in the body, deep intimacy with the natural world and exploring heart and mind as I learn to more and more rest in true nature is what I am committed to in my own life and what I want to help others experience.
Diamond Approach has guided me to see through illusions. It has provided a map and a language that is guiding me home. While the trail may have many obstacles, there is also sunshine, moon glow and wild energies. I’ve learned to feel my way toward the embodiment of wisdom, moment by moment. Diamond Approach has helped me to see all of life as a sacred exploration that continues to open into deeper and deeper experiences of freedom and belonging.
I have been working with people for decades and love witnessing the uniqueness of each soul being unpacked and discovered with kindness and love. My practice has been somatically centered, and I draw from yoga and emotional release bodywork, including Trauma-informed modalities with studies in Somatic Experiencing. I find the practice of inquiry profound — a practice of truly landing where we are and having the support to experience reality in an embodied way. I welcome all genders, all ethnicities, and all walks of life.
I wanted to learn the skills of embodied inquiry among friends and living teachers. I wanted to learn how to be where I am and use it as the doorway to feel and metabolize historical imprints as well as experience the vast and mystical reality, to learn how to be both infinite and intimate. The Diamond Heart Approach looked like it could take me there.
Diamond Approach is truly about self-discovery and being anchored in true nature while living and functioning in the world. This is a path that supports an unfoldment into who we truly are. Each one of us is unique and transformation happens moment to moment.
