This book also explores what obstructs access to this boundless dimension of our true nature. it investigates in detail how the belief in being a separate self functions as the main obstacle. But I also consider other obstacles, beliefs, and types of conditioning that stand in the way of true nature manifesting itself as this expanse of pure selfless love. It is important as we delve into the loving ground of being to understand how this universal love relates to our sense of being an individual consciousness, how it relates to all forms of the world, both inner and outer, and how it relates to our true nature. We see in this process that boundless love is a primary way of knowing and experiencing nondual reality. This is where the expanse of love is inseparable from everything – it is in fact arising as the nature of everything - and shows that divine love is the basis of the universe, of all manifestation and experience.

 I differ from those non-dual teachings that maintain the spiritual expanse is always manifest but we are simply not aware of it. I prefer the view that the spiritual expanse, and all spiritual potential, only manifests when we are ready for it and open to it. this changes how we look at life and the ordinary world and its relation to the spiritual expanse, in this case to boundless love. Our familiar world Is not simply a delusion or a wrong version of reality but a true way that reality manifests that can be enhanced or transformed through a journey of revelation.
